Saturday Snaphots: A Sunny Winter Evening

This post is going up a little later than usual since I had to work today. Luckily I got home in time to take the dogs out for a short walk before it got dark out. It was a beautiful sunny day and unfortunately I was cooped up inside for most of it. One thing I always get excited to see when I am out for a walk in the fields:

Deer tracks! I have only seen deer a handful of times when I am out walking. I think my dogs scare them off before I can get close enough. Seeing the tracks gives me hope I will stumble upon one.
There’s lots of exciting things going on in my little blogging world next week.
A) It’s Valentine Week on Crafty Little Gnome so I have some fun crafts and Valentine themed recipes and posts for you.
B) My new giveaway starts tomorrow. Another great chance for you to win something from my Etsy shop Adrienne Audrey Jewelry
C) My blog is getting a makeover! I finally decided that blog design is sometimes better left to professionals who can make things prettier than I can. The new design will be going up sometime in the next week and I can’t wait for you guys to see it. It’s soooo pretty!

While I imagine most of you are going to be watching the Superbowl tomorrow I will continue my tradition of not watching the Superbowl. Not that there’s anything wrong with football, it’s just not my thing.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

The walk looks like there's some beautiful scenery. I'd be stoked to see deer too.
Also…with you on the no football thing. I ogle other people's snacks but that's about as excited as I get 🙂

  5. Wow, that day looks more like an autumn one to me! The light is so warm. If you want to see deers more regularly please, come and visit me, we have a family of 4 deers living here and we see them each day. They are used to people and can come pretty close.

  6. You are so lucky to see deer on a regular basis. The only thing unfortunate about deer is that they like to help themselves to the vegetable garden but I think I would be okay with that if it would mean they would come say hello!
